The other day I was sitting on my couch reading newspaper when I come across this funny quote about life. The quote was by Brendan Gill. Here's the quote:

"Not a shred of evidence exists in favor of idea that life is serious."

I found this quote to be extremely funny and at the same time, extremely profound. This quote made me wonder why sometime we tend to be serious and gloomy. Life is not meant to be serious. It is meant to be enjoy to fullest. 

Here's one more funny life quote which I came across lately which is something like this:

"Don't take life seriously. No one get out live."

I came across this quote while driving. This quote was written on bumper sticker of the car ahead of me. Immediately I jotted it down on my iPod touch (I have this habit of jotting down every quote I come across). I've liked this quote so much that I made a poster of this quote and putted it in my bedroom wall. Too often, we ask our kids, our friends and our relatives to take life seriously. But why take life seriously? Taking life seriously means missing out on so many beautiful things life has for us. In the long run, it wont give you anything but stressed, melancholy and mediocre life. You See, the life is designed simple. Add pinch of seriousness and it will get complicated. Add pinch of fun, humor, laughter, enjoyment and life will get just perfect and easy to go along with.

How many of you can relate to this quote? Isn't funny we dwell over the things of future which we are not sure about or cringe over the past things which has long gone. What will happen if so and so will happen? What am I gonna do when so and so will happen? We spend so much of our precious time thinking about Ifs  of life rather than enjoying WOWs of life.
